Closed pipe Same kind of gradient than in a ball, but just different color in the middle. The idea of the closed to pipe is the direction, how you add the the gradient. To this shadow I use the gradient called foreground to transparent. The gradient on the top piece is added an a different direction than in a pipe. Open pipe Transforming the gradient do make it look open.
